founder of Things Are Blooming. As a first-generation American with roots in Jamaica, I grew up inspired by my father, a cattle farmer, and developed a deep appreciation for nature from an early age.

Things Are Blooming was created to solve a problem I noticed — the lack of accessible native plants in local stores. My goal is to make it easier for gardeners, landscapers, and plant lovers to find and grow Florida-native plants.

We are passionate about helping restore and protect Florida's ecosystem by promoting sustainable gardening practices and making native plants more accessible to everyone.

In our shop, we offer a wide selection of native plants, heat-tolerant varieties, flowers, and seeds — all carefully selected to thrive in Florida's climate.
